Please note:

Recent changes (a 70% increase) to the UK postage rates for printed papers sent outside the UK have meant that the price of a pattern for overseas buyers is now about 80% of the cost of the item. I can only apologise for this as I have simply transparently passed the increase on to the buyer. The only mitigation I can offer is to ensure a reduction of excess postage for multiple items shipped together.

Wool weight: 3 or 4 ply
Needle size: 3mm, and 3¾mm,
Tension (10cm): 28sts over pattern

Description: Yellow man's V-neck slipover with various patterning.
This is an early pattern with the ubiquitous centre crease, and knitted in Sirdar Supurl. I do not know this yarn and I am not able to guess the type from the quantities or needles, and there no other yarn options to help. My best guess is that it is 4ply or a light weight double knit.
I am amazed to find 4 of these patterns - all from the 1960s and modelled in yellow. I feel there must have been some driver for this - fashion icon of the day, James Bond, royalty, golfer, famous designer original etc but can find no reference to it and I do not remember it myself from personal experience.
I have listed the four next to each other here so you can have a laugh, and tell me if you know the answer.
