Description: Classic football supporter's scarf from days of yore - or simply a striped scarf - mittens - gloves - and a man's tie. The construction of the scarf is not one I have seen before; it is knitted on 2 needles using a slip-stitch which results in a tube which is turned inside out to form a double thickness stocking stitch scarf.
I knitted my brother a tie, once; it was probably my first knitting project. He even wore it - which makes me feel very warm towards him....
