Vintage Patterns: Children's plain sweaters III

Please note:

Recent changes (a 70% increase) to the UK postage rates for printed papers sent outside the UK have meant that the price of a pattern for overseas buyers is now about 80% of the cost of the item. I can only apologise for this as I have simply transparently passed the increase on to the buyer. The only mitigation I can offer is to ensure a reduction of excess postage for multiple items shipped together.

Wool brand: Ariel Triple Knitting
Yarn quantity: 3-6 (2 oz balls) triple knitting
Sizes: 22 - 32 inch chest (6 sizes).

Wool weight: Worsted or Aran-like
Needle size: 4mm and 6mm.
Tension (10x10cm): 17sts x 22 rows on 6mm needles over stocking stitch

Price: SOLD

Description: Plain sweaters with high necks. The pattern is worn with a strong vertical crease (not shown), but this does not affect the instructions. I am not wholly sure what weight "tripleknit" was - all the yarn companies at the time produced "triple knitting" wools for a while. From the tension and needle size I assume it's like an aran or heavy worsted.
