Vintage Patterns: Toddler outfit: sweater, hat, and scarf

Please note:

Recent changes (a 70% increase) to the UK postage rates for printed papers sent outside the UK have meant that the price of a pattern for overseas buyers is now about 80% of the cost of the item. I can only apologise for this as I have simply transparently passed the increase on to the buyer. Description: This is a lovely French design illustrated in bright colours - all of which was such a departure from conventional baby wear for us British in the 1980s. It's very simple but effective - the stitch is a mock Fisherman's rib where the "knit 1 below" rib is alternated with a plain knit row (so half the effort!). Note the tension of 50 rows to 10cm which is the effect of the Fisherman's rib "shrinking" the length compared with a stocking stitch 4 ply.
