Description: Loose-fit one-size dolman sweater with colourwork knitted from a chart. At first I though this was a sideways knit from cuff to cuff but you can see from the smaller inset picture that it's knitted in two halves, one from the cuff to the centre knitted sideways, and the other from the front waist, over the shoulder and down the to the back waist (increasing and decreasing as required); the second piece is started by picking up stitches down the centre front which joins the two pieces, and the welts are knitted on separately. This is a technically interesting knit which requires you to follow the instructions carefully, and some experience would be useful I think. |
