Glamorous occasion set

Pattern ID: Lister 2560
Wool brand: Bel Air Starspun, Lavenda, Crepe Tricel Nylon, Courtelle
Yarn quantity: Top: 4-6 (20g balls); Hat: 1-2 balls; Scarf: 1-2 balls.
Sizes: 32-38 inch chest [4 sizes]; scarf is 50 inches long excluding fringe and about 3 inches wide; hat to fit "average" head.

Description: Triangular shawls and rectangular stoles to knit or crochet. Implication of holiday (Greek?) setting in the background which looks suspiciously like a painted backdrop with basket props. Still - good for those balmy nights on foreign holidays.

Description: Interesting combination with bands of eyelet lace smooth yarn interleaved with bands of speciality eyelash type yarn; ribbed edging on one side only. Note that pattern also provides instructions for a plain stocking stitch version in eyelash yarn: summary "cast on 222 sts, knit a lot in st st, cast off". Don't say I never give you anything ;o)

[I cannot help observing that the 3 models look like some progressive 1980s theatrical production of Macbeth. But don't let that put you off - it has nothing to do with the knitting...]
