Introducing vintage patterns for sale

I have a lot of patterns surplus to my requirements - either simply patterns I have acquired over the years or duplicates in auction lots. So I thought I would list some of them here in case any readers would like to buy them. Some of the patterns are quaint, but many of them are simply dated, and I try to value them accordingly.

I have grouped the patterns by type, as they were in old-fashioned knitting shops; some patterns may fit into more than one category, and the beauty of the virtual world is that a pattern can happily live in more than one drawer! There is also a "retro" category which is entirely arbitrary, and roughly includes anything prior to the 1980s. If you are looking for something very particular or obscure, then try a specific search.

I'm not attempting to run a business, as such, but I will endeavour to offer a professional enough service on an ad hoc basis.
I hope you will find something you like.

Terms and Conditions

The patterns shown on the site are "sold as seen". Patterns are in variable condition; I have tried to indicate this on each individual description.
I regret that I do not offer returns or refunds, although I will be open to discuss any circumstances which may have led to dissatisfaction.

Prices

Prices are shown on each individual pattern. Unless stated this does not include postage. My minimum price for a pattern currently is £2 (that is pounds sterling or GBP) to cover basic administration costs. Premium rate patterns that I consider to be more valuable (usually older) are currently at a minimum of £3.  Books and magazines, when available, are priced individually and, being heavier, attract higher postage rates. Prices for overseas buyers are shown in the drop down menus and are quite a lot higher to cover the UK Post Office excessive overseas postage rates for printed papers. The only mitigation I can offer for overseas buyers with multiple purchases, is that I will refund the excess postage charge for each additional pattern.

I accept payments through Paypal "Buy now" buttons to allow you to pay instantly using a credit card - note that you do not need to have a Paypal account in order to so this. However, I know this does not suit everyone, so if you want to pay using another method, or to discuss anything else, then please email me using the "contact me" link in the side bar to make the necessary arrangements.

Postage

Standard postage within the UK is second class for a normal single-fold sheet pattern (approximately A4). International postage will usually be via air mail. I always obtain proof of posting.

For different classes of service or any queries over the rates, please email me using the "contact me" link in the side bar.

More Questions?

If you have any questions about the items, payments, or terms and conditions, please email me using the "contact me" link in the side bar.
