Wool brand: Tricel Nylon Double Crepe; Wonderland Courtelle/Nylon, Baby Nylon
Yarn quantity: 7-9 (50g balls) for DK version in rib; 9-11 (50g balls) for 4 ply version in eyelet lace.
Sizes: 32-40 inch chest (2 sizes)

Wool weight: Double Knitting or 4 ply
Needle size: DK: 6mm and 4mm; 4 ply: 6mm and 3¾mm
Tension (10cm): DK version 24sts on 4mm in st st; 4 ply 18sts on 6mm needles over pattern.

Description: These were designed as bedjackets in the 1970s but with the recent resurgence of interest in all things wrap, shawl, and shrug, these original patterns have been mined and revamped by modern designers. Easy to see how they would translate using darker and brighter modern yarns in rich colours.
There is the usual horizontal crease in the pattern which does not affect the instructions.
